About me

Hi there, I am a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor specialising in Integrative and Relational counselling (which in a nutshell means I draw from a range of therapeutic styles of counselling  to tailor the experience to you and your needs).

You don’t need to have a clear reason or explanation for seeking counselling. Sometimes there’s just a sense that something isn’t quite right, or a quiet knowing that something needs to change. That in itself is enough.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth space where you can be yourself—without pressure, judgement, or the need to have everything figured out. I believe the relationship between client and counsellor is at the heart of the work, and I aim to build a space where you feel safe, respected, and gently supported as we explore whatever you’re carrying.

I have particular experience in supporting individuals who have lived through difficult or traumatic childhoods. These early experiences can shape how we see ourselves and relate to the world—often leading to low self-worth, negative thinking patterns, and spiralling thoughts that are hard to manage alone. I work with care and sensitivity to help you begin to make sense of these patterns and explore what healing might look like for you.

I work with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, and understand how these experiences can influence how a person moves through the world and relates to others—and to themselves.

Another aspect to know about me is I used to be a nurse - I spent the majority of my career working in Gynaecology / early pregnancy loss,  I therefore have extensive  experience and understanding of what it’s like to work within the NHS, alongside the frequent traumas we tend to become accustomed too

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, addiction, or feeling stuck, I’m here to support you in making sense of your experience and beginning the process of healing.

My private practice, located in Great Yarmouth(5 minutes from the Acle Straight), provides a calm and confidential setting for our sessions. I look forward to welcoming you and helping you move toward a life of greater clarity, purpose, and emotional freedom.

Please feel free to get in touch via phone, message, WhatsApp or email to arrange an initial conversation.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc (Hons) Degree in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

I also have a BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing.

I am a registered member of the UKCP, and I adhere to their professional and ethical standards as a core part of my practice.

Before transitioning to counselling, I spent 13 years as a nurse, specialising in gynaecology and early pregnancy. This background has provided me with valuable experience in supporting individuals from various backgrounds during challenging times.
