About me

£40 Online sessions - £50 In Person sessions (50 mins per session)

You may be outwardly coping, but inside, feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are anymore. You might be carrying experiences that are difficult to name: loss, trauma, shame, or long-standing patterns within family relationships that continue to affect how you feel about yourself today. Therapy can offer a space to gently slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe and supportive.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor with a BSc in Psychology and Health Science and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I work with young adults, adults, and older adults, supporting people aged 18 through later life. I have specialised experience working with domestic abuse and brain injury, and I frequently support clients navigating trauma, loss, identity issues, and complex family dynamics, both the experiences that are visible and those that have remained hidden.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, somatic, and existential therapies. This means we work at your pace, with your agenda, while also exploring what may be at the core of the difficulties you’re facing. I pay close attention to the body as well as the mind, offering psychoeducation to help you understand how experiences are held in the nervous system, often described as how “the body keeps the score.”

I offer both online and in-person counselling. Online sessions are available via Microsoft Teams, and I also offer WhatsApp video sessions for a more tech-friendly and accessible option.

Please email me or phone me for a brief chat about the counselling process and any questions you have.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
