About me
What Can I Offer You?
I'm a pluralistic counsellor. This means I am trained in many different approaches to find what works best for you, I know that everyone is unique. I offer flexible hours outside the typical 9-5, so you can get support when it suits you. I’m all about being open and working together to set goals that matter to you. Let’s work together toward better mental health at your pace, and at your time.
I offer a free 30 minute informal introduction. This is solely so that you have a chance to meet me and have a chat. I strongly feel everyone should have a counsellor that they gel with and it’s important to me that I feel right to you. Please feel free to contact me and we will arrange this.
A Little Bit About Me:
I have over a decade of experience in helping people to improve their day-to-day mental health. I take pride in my ability to work with people from all walks of life. I have worked with people with complex mental health diagnoses, ex-offenders, drug addicts and sexual abuse survivors. I seek to help without any prejudice or bias. We all have moments in life when we need help, it doesn’t matter who we are, where we come from or what we’ve done. We’re all humans!
I have lived experience with symptoms of depression and anxiety. I have benefitted from my own counselling journey in learning to live and manage these. This is why I feel particularly passionate about working as a counsellor. If my experiences and learnings can benefit other people then I am always here to help.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
