About me
Are you tired of holding it all together? Of putting on a brave face when there’s so much beneath the surface that nobody can see? You go to work, you do your job, and to everyone around you, you seem "fine". They don’t see the pain you’re carrying or the anxiety that creeps in late at night. They have no idea of the doubt you grapple with or the pressure you’re under.
How I Can Help
I’m a qualified psychotherapist who helps people manage the impact of stress, anxiety and trauma. I’m also down-to-earth, deeply empathetic and know how hard it can be to share those more vulnerable parts of ourselves we keep hidden.
I offer a space where you don’t need to pretend everything is "good" and can share how you truly feel, at your own pace and without judgement. Together we can explore what’s beneath the surface to understand where it comes from and to find ways to cope. This could be by getting curious through conversation, creative approaches, or EMDR, a powerful type of trauma therapy.
My hope is that you leave feeling seen, deeply understood and better able to navigate the challenges you face.
Face-to-face and accessible online sessions
I offer face-to-face sessions in a lovely, peaceful room in Gosforth, Newcastle.
I also offer online sessions via the secure video platform 'Zoom,' allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your home and fit them into your busy schedule.
Ongoing Weekly Support
I usually work with clients on a weekly basis, at the same time each week. That kind of consistency helps build trust, creates a steady rhythm, and offers the support you need as the work deepens.
At the same time, I understand that therapy is a big financial commitment. I aim to make the work both meaningful and affordable. Some people come for a focused block of 10 to 12 sessions, while others choose to work with me in a more open-ended way — we can talk together about what feels realistic and sustainable for you.
Private Insurance
I am also a recognised psychotherapy provider for Aviva, AXA Health and WPA. If you have a policy with one of these insurers, please contact them to confirm whether your policy covers you for psychotherapy work with me.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
