About me
Do you appear very “together” or successful, but hide the fact that life seems harder for you than it does for others? Perhaps you have an anxious brain that overthinks and criticises everything you do, or feel like masking who you really are is the only way to be accepted. It could be that you’re feeling drained by difficult relationships, or struggle with loneliness, even when you’re surrounded by people. If this sounds like you, therapy can help you set clearer boundaries, improve your relationships, and find a deeper sense of self.
Who I See:
I work with people who are feeling overwhelmed by life, and disconnected from themselves and others. This could be from the weight of unresolved trauma, the constant pressure of trying to meet people’s expectations, or that sense of anxiety always lingering in the background. For some of my clients, therapy is a chance to explore the impact of grief, loss, or shame. For others, it’s a space to navigate identity, reconnecting with the person they’ve always been, but might have lost touch with along the way.
I see people of all identities, and my practice is an affirming space for those who have felt overlooked and underrepresented in society. My own lived experience as a Black woman has given me a deep understanding of what it means to fight against stereotypes and prejudice, and struggle with identity and belonging. This is a space where difference is respected and embraced.
I’ve also completed training led by neurodivergent therapists in providing neuro-affirming therapy. I know how isolating and exhausting it can feel to navigate a world built for neurotypical people, with or without a diagnosis. My focus is on understanding your individual needs and supporting you as you are.
How I Work:
As an integrative therapist trained in psychodynamic and humanistic modalities, I’ll take a flexible approach to what you’re struggling with. We’ll work together to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, untangling emotions and unpacking experiences you may not have put into words yet. Bringing these thoughts and feelings into awareness means you can begin to understand them, giving you the freedom to respond differently to people, situations, and even yourself!
I believe healing happens through connection, and I work in a very relational way, building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. We’ll work well together if you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, direct, will gently challenge you when needed, and may use the occasional swear word. I’ll meet you with acceptance, curiosity, and honesty, supporting you through the more difficult moments, but also laughing with you when things feel lighter.
Next Steps:
I know starting therapy might feel a bit scary. If you’ve connected with my profile and are thinking about contacting me, I’d love to hear from you. I’ll respond within 24 hours (or ideally sooner) and get you booked in for a free, 15-minute introductory call, which is more of an informal chat so we can get to know each other and see if the way I work suits you. Alternatively, you can book yourself straight in for the introductory call by clicking the button at the top of my profile.
Training, qualifications & experience
Experience
I’ve worked within the NHS talking therapies, helping people with anxious thoughts, feelings of overwhelm, loneliness and isolation, and life’s many ups and downs. I’ve also worked within charities as a Bereavement Counsellor, supporting people through one of life's toughest challenges - losing a loved one.
Alongside my practice, I currently volunteer with the Community Trauma Support Service in Wandsworth, offering free trauma-informed bereavement counselling.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
