About me
I offer a warm, supportive space to help you navigate the many different chapters of your life. At times, life can feel turbulent, overwhelming, or painful, and seeking support can be an important step. Working together, therapy can help you make sense of what you are experiencing and find ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
I am a leading specialist in ADHD and I work with adults, young people, and children, who may be going through a difficult or challenging time. This might relate to something happening in the present, experiences from the past that continue to have an impact, or ongoing daily struggles such as anxiety, panic, low mood, or self-doubt.
Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences safely, at your pace. I work alongside you, supporting you to navigate challenges, develop understanding, and move towards living your life with greater ease, balance, and emotional freedom.
About my work
A central focus of my practice is working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, across the lifespan. I have a late diagnosis of ADHD myself, alongside autism and dyslexia, which informs my work with depth and insight while remaining firmly held within professional and ethical boundaries. This, alongside my specialist training and clinical experience, has led me to develop a leading focus in ADHD and autism, including support around identity, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions.
The foundation of my work is person-centred and humanistic, meaning the therapeutic relationship is always shaped around you — your experiences, your pace, and what feels most important to explore. I also draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to work flexibly and responsively, particularly when supporting neurodivergent clients.
I work with children and young people, as well as parents, offering support to bridge the gap between individual needs and the demands of education or wider systems. I also support adults seeking to better understand their own neurodivergent traits, including those exploring or adjusting to a later diagnosis.
I also support individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual abuse, rape, and exploitation, whether these experiences occurred in childhood, adolescence, or adulthood. Trauma can affect emotional wellbeing, relationships, self-esteem, and a sense of safety in the world.
My work in this area is trauma-informed, meaning therapy is grounded in safety, choice, and trust. There is no expectation to disclose details before you are ready, and no pressure to revisit experiences in ways that feel overwhelming. Therapy offers a confidential, compassionate space to make sense of what has happened and to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Alongside my clinical work, I continue to develop my specialist knowledge through ongoing training and postgraduate study, ensuring my practice remains informed by current research and best practice.
