About me

Hi, I’m Becs a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor. If you’re here, chances are something’s not feeling quite right in your life right now. Maybe you’ve been carrying around something heavy for a while. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, alone or even feeling like you’ve lost yourself.

We can feel as if we’re going round in circles and not making any progress. Talking to someone who cares and understands is the first step towards breaking the circle.

I typically work with adults: women and men, just like you, to gently untangle what’s going on, with warmth, honesty, and always in a nonjudgmental way. To put it simply, I offer a safe and accepting space for you to talk, share your thoughts and feelings, to explore what is troubling you and to identify what you might like to change.

Training, qualifications & experience

Here are some of the reasons people come to see me:

  • Feeling anxious, on edge, or overwhelmed
  • Struggling with self-esteem or confidence
  • Past trauma that’s still affecting day-to-day life
  • Relationship difficulties (with partners, family, or friends)
  • People-pleasing and perfectionism
  • Abusive; Domestic & Coercive; physical, verbal and emotional
  • Bereavement and grief
  • Isolation and loneliness
  • Burnout, overwhelm, or never feeling ‘enough’
  • Depression/postnatal depression

We go at your pace. I know how key our mental health is and just how bad we can feel, when our doubts and fears become overwhelming. This is a space for honesty, reflection, a few lightbulb moments and sometimes, a little laughter too.
