About me
As a therapeutic counsellor, I welcome clients to a tranquil private space in the Cotswolds, where the surrounding beauty itself can offer a sense of calm and reflection. This setting provides an opportunity to pause, breathe, and truly be seen and heard. Whatever challenges you may be facing, my aim is to create a relationship rooted in warmth and authenticity where you feel genuinely valued and supported.
In addition to my counselling practice, I am an accredited Equine Assisted Therapist. Working alongside horses allows for a creative and powerful process of self-discovery, helping clients connect more deeply with their inner world. I believe wholeheartedly in each person’s capacity for healing and growth when they are met with compassion, acceptance, and the freedom to be themselves.
Training, qualifications & experience
My training and experience are grounded in many years of study, client work, and personal reflection. I have worked across both corporate and charitable settings, drawing on my own life experiences to bring depth and empathy to my practice. I am a qualified person-centred therapeutic counsellor with additional postgraduate training in Psychosynthesis and Equine Assisted Therapy. My further training includes work around infertility and miscarriage, working with young people, and Safeguarding.
Currently, I am completing a master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, with a particular interest in attachment theory. I take a reflective and ethical approach to my work, continually deepening my understanding of the therapeutic relationship. I am a member of the BACP and an accredited member of the AAHEP.
I offer both in-person and online video counselling or telephone counselling.
Sessions last a therapeutic hour (50 mins)

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
The first session offers a chance for us to meet and see whether we feel comfortable working together. During this time, I’ll invite you to share what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from the process. If we choose to continue, we’ll then go through an agreement that clearly outlines how we will work together, ensuring you feel informed, supported, and at ease as we begin your therapeutic journey.
