About me
People come to counselling for many reasons, but when life feels complicated or heavy, having someone in your corner can make all the difference. That’s what I aim to offer.
I became a therapist because I wanted to be the kind of support I once needed — someone who listens properly, speaks honestly, and helps you navigate whatever life has put in front of you.
Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, direct, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel formal or intimidating. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes we sit with difficult feelings. Sometimes I’ll say, “Well, if you can’t tell your therapist, who can you tell?” Because this is a space where you don’t have to carry things on your own.
What matters most is that you feel heard, supported, and less alone. Together we make sense of what you’re experiencing and find ways to move forward that feel manageable and real for you.
I have a strong focus on helping people navigate challenging situations — whether that’s life changes, relationships, loss, OCD, ADHD or feeling stuck. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life.
And when sessions end, I want you to leave knowing you’re not facing things by yourself — you know where I am if you need me.
If you are considering counselling and would like to see whether I might be the right fit, you are very welcome to get in touch. You can email me to ask questions, check availability, or arrange an initial session. There is no pressure — just a first step if you feel ready.
Training, qualifications & experience
Every person is unique, and so is the way I work.
I am a qualified counsellor with professional therapeutic training and ongoing continuing professional development.
My training is grounded in integrative counselling, which means I draw from a wide range of therapeutic models to create a tailored approach that suits your needs. No two people are the same, so your therapy shouldn’t be either. Whether you're exploring the impact of ADHD, navigating OCD patterns, managing anxiety or low mood, or facing something entirely different, we’ll work together in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and genuinely personal to you.
I continue to develop my knowledge in areas including:
• anxiety and emotional regulation
• ADHD support
• OCD and intrusive thoughts
• trauma-informed practice
Qualifications:
- BA (Hons) in Counselling Solutions – Doncaster University, 2022

Whatever brings you to therapy, I'm here to support you with warmth, honesty, and a belief in your ability to grow
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
