About me
I’m a fully qualified and experienced integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, registered with both the BACP and UKCP, offering individual therapy in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship - one built on empathy, respect, and collaboration. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious to understand yourself more deeply, I aim to meet you where you are, with openness and compassion.
My integrative training allows me to draw from a range of well-established approaches, including Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Behavioural theories. This flexible way of working means I can tailor our sessions to support your unique needs, experiences, and goals.
I have particular experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, and issues relating to identity, relationships, and LGBTQ+ experiences. I work in a trauma-informed and holistic way - considering your emotional, physical, and relational wellbeing. I offer a calm and grounded space where we can explore your inner world together, at your pace.
I have experience providing both long-term and short-term psychotherapeutic counselling in a variety of settings, including charitable organisations and private practice and I work inclusively with clients from all walks of life, helping them navigate a range of challenges and circumstances. I am committed to treating each person as a unique individual, respecting their distinct experiences and needs.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. I welcome you just as you are.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a BSc (Hons) Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I'm registered with both the UKCP and BACP, adhering to their ethical and professional standards.
Alongside working in private practice, I have previously volunteered and worked for both the YMCA and Off The Record, charitable organisations within Norwich and currently also work for Norfolk's Youth Justice Service. Prior to working in private practice I worked in education and safeguarding.
I am deeply committed to maintaining high professional standards and regularly attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to stay up to date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques. In order to provide the best possible care, I work closely with an experienced supervisor, ensuring I adequately meet the supervision requirements set by both the BACP and UKCP.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I am based in the heart of Norwich city centre and offer both face-to-face and online sessions for individuals aged 18 and over. My practice is grounded in an integrative approach, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic models to tailor my work to your individual needs. I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where we can explore the challenges you’re facing, at your own pace and in a way that feels right for you.
I support clients with a broad range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem, addiction, and identity-related challenges, including those faced by the LGBTQ+ community. I have extensive experience helping individuals explore and navigate identity, relationships, and the unique challenges that come with these particular issues.
