About me
Reaching out for support isn't always easy. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or struggling to cope with life's demands. Whatever has brought you here, my aim is to offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard.
I am a BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor with over 4,000 hours of clinical experience, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Accreditation recognises my commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards, ongoing professional development, and providing safe, effective counselling.
Alongside my counselling practice, I bring 25 years' experience in the corporate world, giving me a genuine understanding of workplace stress, burnout, performance pressure, organisational change, and the challenges of balancing work with personal wellbeing.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, trauma, and workplace issues. I also have a particular interest in addiction and compulsive behaviours, supporting people affected by alcohol or drug use, gambling, pornography, gaming, compulsive spending, and other behaviours that can feel difficult to control.
I believe that addictive behaviours are often an attempt to cope with emotional pain rather than the problem itself. Together, we can explore the underlying experiences that may be contributing to these patterns, helping you develop greater self-awareness, healthier coping strategies, and lasting change.
My approach is integrative, combining person-centred counselling with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques. Every client is different, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, whether you're looking for practical strategies, deeper self-understanding, or a combination of both.
Above all, I believe that therapy is built on trust. My role is to provide a calm, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting change.
I actually prefer this version because it leads with your three strongest credibility markers:
- BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor
- 4,000+ hours of clinical experience
- 25 years' corporate experience

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
