About me
Couples & Relationship Therapist and Integrative Counsellor
Couples often come to therapy when they feel caught in repeating cycles—arguing about the same things, withdrawing from each other, struggling to repair after hurt, or a general feeling of disconnect. You may both be trying hard, yet still feel unseen, defensive, lonely, or unsure how to reconnect. Therapy offers a structured and thoughtful space to slow these patterns down, understand what is happening between you, and begin finding a more secure and compassionate way forward.
My work with couples is integrative and relational, drawing on attachment theory, psychodynamic thinking and IMAGO Relationship Therapy. Exploring with compassion and curiosity the dynamic between you, the protective strategies each partner brings, the unmet needs underneath conflict, and the ways earlier relational experiences may shape expectations, sensitivities, and responses in the present. Alongside exploring these deeper patterns, we also focus on what happens in the here-and-now—how you speak, listen, defend, reach out, shut down, or seek closeness in the room.
As a Level 5 couples and relationship therapist trained in IMAGO Relationship Therapy, I support partners to move out of blame and escalation and into a more curious, empathic dialogue. IMAGO offers a clear way of slowing communication down so that each person can feel heard, while also making sense of the deeper longings, fears, and wounds that may sit beneath repeated reactions.
I also work with individuals through a psychodynamic lens, where therapy can help you explore anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck within yourself. This can involve looking at recurring patterns, early experiences, unconscious expectations, and the ways past relationships may continue to influence present choices and feelings. Whether you come as a couple or individually, sessions are collaborative and paced with care. We will clarify what you want from therapy and keep returning to what matters most to you. If you would like to get a feel for whether we are a good fit, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation. I'm committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all. Respect, kindness and inclusion matter to me.
My working hours are daytime – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
