About me

I am a BACP Registered Counsellor, Psychotherapist, EMCC Global Accredited Professional Coach, and Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience across educational settings, community outreach, the corporate sector, and not-for-profit organisations. I provide tailored support designed to strengthen emotional wellbeing through increased self-awareness, personal growth, and healthier relationships.

A significant focus of my work involves helping individuals navigate loss and grief. I believe many of our relational patterns are shaped by the losses we've experienced, and through recognising and understanding these, we can pave the way for healing and meaningful growth.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and also offer support to parents. Parenting can bring complex emotional challenges. I provide a space for understanding both your child’s mental wellbeing and your own evolving role.

For young adults, I offer a space to explore identity and future direction. When past experiences cloud the ability to envision what lies ahead, therapy can help uncover new possibilities and restore a sense of hope and purpose.

I also support older adults transitioning into new life stages - whether adjusting to retirement, navigating changes in relationships, facing health challenges, or exploring the emotional impact of the menopause. These shifts often prompt a re-evaluation of identity and purpose, and I offer a compassionate space to reflect and grow.

My aim is to you build resilience, unlock your potential, and work towards meaningful personal goals. Whether you're a young person overwhelmed by stress and uncertainty, a parent seeking support, or an adult navigating the complexities of life, I offer a relational, non-judgemental approach to accompany you on your journey.

Reaching out can feel like a big step but it can also be the first step towards healing, empowerment, and transformation. Please do get in touch to begin your journey towards a brighter, more fulfilling future.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

Therapy is a meaningful investment, emotionally, financially, and in time. I offer a flexible, confidential and outcomes-focused space, tailored to your changing needs. My approach is authentic and adaptable, helping you achieve the most effective and personal outcomes.

Transparency and collaboration are central to my work. I aim to demystify the therapeutic process, ensuring you're informed and involved every step of the way. Together, we focus on what you want to change, explore what may be getting in the way, and review our progress regularly.

Often, there's a disconnect between what we want and how we behave. Much of this stems from unconscious patterns. Our work will bring these to light, helping you understand yourself better and make sustainable changes. I offer a compassionate space where your experiences are seen, heard, and held, with seriousness and a lightness of touch.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents, offering support through various life stages and challenges. For those seeking proactive development, I provide therapeutic coaching, blending counselling and professional coaching to support growth, transitions and parenting.
