About me

Hello, my name is Xenia.

Making the first step towards asking for help can sometimes be the biggest hurdle to overcome and I am proud of you for getting started.

Life has its challenges, and I have certainly had my own over the years, where we just need support from someone that isn’t family or a close friend. Someone who we can trust that they will hold space for us in order to process certain events, or, a confidential objective party that will listen, without judgement, so we can make sense of ourselves and the world around us. Treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion lies at the very core of my values and I will tailor our sessions to meet your unique and specific needs, working with you to get you where you want to be. I am a fully qualified, psychotherapeutic counsellor.  I have extensive experience in trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, domestic abuse, relationship issues, bereavement and ADHD to name a few.

Counselling is a dual relationship, so it is important for both of us to feel comfortable and at ease, so don’t hesitate to contact me for a free of charge, informal chat to see how we can work together.

Further information

I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues. I like to work with the person as a whole because our emotions, thoughts and experiences are manifesting in the body as well as in the mind.

I use practises like mindfulness, hypnotherapy, somatic work and breath work alongside more traditional theories and techniques, tailoring our sessions to meet your unique needs because not every person needs the same approach and no same issue has the same solution.
