About me
I am a Person Centred Counsellor offering a safe, confidential and welcoming space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, confusing or difficult to navigate. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, a loss of direction, or simply feel that you’re struggling to cope. You may not even know exactly what you need… only that something doesn’t feel quite right. Counselling can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect and make sense of what you’re experiencing, without judgement or expectation.
As a Person Centred Counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do or give you all the answers, but to listen with empathy, acceptance and understanding, and to help you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
I understand that beginning counselling can feel daunting, so I strive to make our sessions feel comfortable and collaborative. There is no expectation that you have everything figured out.
I offer counselling online and via telephone, providing flexibility for you to access support from a place where you feel comfortable and safe. I predominantly work during weekday evenings and at weekends.
Before we start work together I offer a free consultation to talk through your goals and availability so we can get to know each other a little bit and see if you would like to begin work together. Enquire today to learn more and ask any questions you might have.
I hold a Neuroinclusive and LGBTQIA+ affirming space without judgement or need for explanation. Whoever you are, and whatever your story is- there is space for you with me.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
