About me
Hi, my name is Paul and I am a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Preston, Lancashire.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your experiences, and develop new skills and strategies to cope with life's challenges and improve your overall well-being.
I believe that we all have the capacity for growth and change, and that healing and transformation are possible through meaningful connections and relationships. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, to tailor my approach to your specific needs and goals.
In our sessions, we will work collaboratively to explore your concerns and identify areas where you would like to see change. I will listen to you with empathy and understanding, and together we will build a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. We will also explore your past experiences and relationships, and how they may be impacting your present situation.
Through our work together, you will gain insight into your patterns of thinking and behaviour, learn new coping strategies, and develop a stronger sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. You will also learn to cultivate healthier relationships with yourself and others, which can lead to a greater sense of fulfilment and satisfaction in all areas of your life.
If you're ready to take the first step towards a more fulfilling life, I invite you to book a free 20-minute introductory video call with me today.
