About me

The therapeutic relationship between us is central to my practice - it's where real transformation happens. My integrative training allows me to draw from various therapeutic methods, creating a personalised approach that resonates with your specific needs, preferences, and experiences.

You are always my primary focus, with your struggles being just one part of a much richer story. Whatever difficult emotions, experiences, or patterns have led you to seek support, you'll be warmly welcomed and met by someone deeply curious about your inner world, full of genuine care, complete acceptance, and free from judgment.

Every conversation we have is held in complete confidence, with no forbidden topics or conversations too difficult to explore together or considered off-limits. I work with people for varying lengths of time - some prefer focused, shorter-term support while others benefit from longer therapeutic journeys. Whatever timeline feels right for you, we'll work to ensure your growth has strong roots.

Depending on what serves you best, we might explore important relationships from your past, work on current life challenges, develop new coping strategies, or simply provide a space for you to be fully heard and understood. My approach stays flexible and responsive to your evolving needs, and I'll always be listening with my whole attention to understand your world.

Regardless of who you are, what you've experienced, or what you're grappling with, you are very welcome here and you can count on our therapeutic relationship as a steady, trustworthy presence in your life, session after session.

I completely understand that starting counselling can feel intimidating. For many people, it might feel like admitting something is wrong or that you can't manage alone, and you might feel uncertain about telling your friends or family. These feelings are completely normal, and I want you to know that I felt exactly the same when I started having counselling, so I have walked your path too. This personal experience helps me truly empathise with anyone who has similar concerns.

Making that brave first step can be the beginning of moving forward with your life again. In our work together, you'll have someone standing beside you, wherever you are, with whatever you're bringing to therapy. I promise that I will see you and hear you, and whatever you share, I will fully accept all of you.

My practice is built on creating an environment where you can overcome blocks to growth through our close connection. You'll find sessions where you have company in your struggles, understanding for your difficulties, and support as we work together to improve whatever is troubling you.

I genuinely look forward to seeing each client again in the following session - this work matters deeply to me. Whatever issues you're facing, whatever you're worried about, let's work on it together. I know we can do this between us, and I believe you'll emerge from therapy stronger than when you started.

Your courage in reaching out deserves to be met with warmth, understanding, and hope for the future.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
