About me

Your emotions will drive the decisions you make today, and your success may depend upon your ability to understand and interpret them.’   Mary C Lamia Ph.D. Psychology Today

Short notice appointments, get seen, heard and helped quickly.

Finding the right therapist for you and asking for help can be a task, especially if you are feeling anxious, depressed or doubtful. In these moments you may feel lost, confused, stressed, uncertain or just very tired.

You may have been considering finding help for a while now, and finally, you have decided to take that difficult step. All these feelings are natural, you are not alone in this. With professional help, you can feel more at ease.

A 50-minute reduced fee assessment session may help you decide if I am the right Therapist for you.  You can also contact me if you are uncertain regarding your type of problem. Send an email or phone.

We can work together in a confidential therapeutic relationship that will allow you to explore your experiences in a safe manner.  I have experience of working with individuals and couples on many types of problem.  How we connect with each other determines some of the outcomes we will achieve.

Emotion-focused therapy is an effective integrative humanistic therapy, supported by research evidence. The therapy integrates person-centred therapy, gestalt therapy, constructivist methods and psychodynamic ideas on relationship attachments. I aim to support you, value your decisions and offer therapeutic task interventions on whatever life experiences you wish to bring to therapy,

Psychological well-being is just as important as physical health and that is why I like to carry out this socially valuable and rewarding work. All round health is important to us all, adults, teenagers, children, elderly and society in general.

Appointments are available at short notice. My professional practices are in Colchester, Sudbury and Frinton.
