About me
Hi, I am Patrizia, welcome to my profile. What would it be like to feel truly heard, to feel safe and calm? I am wondering how often you tried to find a relief from thoughts that you can't let go. That must be difficult and confusing. I can be alongside you to offer emotional support and to empower you to take control of your life.
As a professionally qualified and experienced Integrative Relational Counsellor I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities to support you in a way that best suits your needs. While these therapeutic models offer valuable insights, I view the therapeutic relationship as central to the process of healing and personal development. I believe in each person's capacity to grow, heal and connect fully with ourselves and others, especially when we are met with empathy, respect and acceptance.
I take a holistic approach to emotional and psychological wellbeing, supporting the interconnected needs of mind, body and soul. By integrating Talking Therapy, Walk-and-Talk Therapy and Sound Therapy, I offer a space that nurtures the whole self and encourages balance, resilience and self awareness.
I have worked extensively in NHS surgeries developing a broad experience in a wide range of mental health difficulties. I offer you a warm and safe space where together we can explore the source of your emotional struggles, understand relational patterns of behaviour and support you in finding healthier and fulfilling ways of being with yourself and others.
"People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be". (Carl R, Rogers).
I abide by the BACP code of ethics, I have ongoing supervision and regularly attend professional development courses.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer short and long-term face-to-face and online therapy in English and Italian to adults, couples, children and young people. If you find the conventional setting of the therapy room uncomfortable, we can walk and talk in nature. This is another modality that I provide. Nature is a healing and nourishing place for the body, mind and soul. Clients who experienced WALK and TALK Therapy normally find it easier to connect to themselves and their feelings. If you are seeking a more embodied or sensory-based experience, I can offer SOUND THERAPY.
