About me
*** English/Spanish/Catalan***
Hello and warm welcome,
My name is Patricia and I am a integrative Psychotherapist based in London. I predominantly work with adolescents, adults and parents to overcome blocks and build a more balanced life. I offer sessions in English, Spanish, or Catalan, online or in person in the London locations of Paddington or Primrose Hill.
I know taking the first step toward starting therapy can take courage, and my goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible for you. While beginning therapy can feel daunting, it can also lead to profound, life-changing growth.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Some events may leave us feeling confused, stuck, or unable to move forward. At other times, we might feel unfulfilled, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or constantly worried about others or feeling the need to comply to make everyone happy. If you're a parent, you may be concerned about your child’s emotional well-being and feel unsure of how to support them. It's completely okay to feel this way—many of us do. Everybody needs support at some point in their life and you don’t have to do it alone.
MY APPROACH
I offer a safe and trusting space to explore about your emotions, thoughts, behaviours, relationships, experiences and patterns. Throughout the therapeutic process, you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you make the choices you want to see in your life. It can be a powerful way to heal and manage life's difficulties. I believe that feeling safe within the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of therapy. When we feel seen by another, we become more open to explore challenges and recognise our true needs and feelings. Therapy allows you to better understand your motivations, beliefs, and behaviours, which empowers you to respond to life’s challenges in ways that align with your true needs and desires. In time, this can help you live a more balanced, fulfilling life.
My approach is trauma and culturally informed and combines various psychological perspectives such as transpersonal, psychodynamic, person-centred, attachment-based, and neuroscience to create a holistic therapeutic experience. I take an empathetic, warm, and creative approach to support the expression and understanding of feelings, identity and difficulties. Besides talking, another way to access hidden and unconscious process is through creativity. My specialised training with children and adolescents allows me to incorporate creative techniques such as the use of metaphors, imagery, visualisations to delve deeper and uncover elements that might be hidden, buried or might feel stuck. I also pay attention in what is happening within the body and incorporate somatic techniques to support a full integration of any life experience.
WHAT I CAN OFFER
I offer support to adults that would like to have more balanced life, helping them heal childhood wounds and work through present challenges. When working with children, I collaborate closely with their parents, as I believe true healing happens when family dynamics are in balanced. For adolescents, I provide guidance during this complex transitional phase, helping them navigate difficult emotions and thoughts.
Sessions are available in English, Spanish, or Catalan. I offer online sessions as well as a limited number of in-person sessions at my London locations in Paddington and Primrose Hill.

Additionally, having lived in different countries, I understand the emotional, cultural, and practical challenges of relocation. I’m passionate about supporting individuals and families navigating issues related to belonging and identity, especially those who have experienced:
Migration to a different country or culture
Growing up in a culture different from their own country of origin or their parents' country of origin (Third Kids culture or Bi-rooted)
Being raised in a multicultural home
Experience a nomadic childhood.
ADULTS:
I support adults facing specific challenges with either a particular event, a long-standing difficulty or those who are interested in personal growth. I am interested in how our early experiences can shape who we are in present and how this is manifest in relationships, self-perception and self-beliefs. Together, we can explore early life patters, address emotional difficulties and understand present roadblocks that may be hindering your personal growth. My aim is to help you discover more about yourself, foster your growth of self-awareness and authenticity so choices that aligned with your wishes can be made.
ADOLESCENTS:
Adolescence can be a challenging stage in life while also extremely enriching. Transition into adulthood can bring up a rollercoaster of emotions such as confusion, frustration, anger, shame and anxiety. In my experience, some adolescents find it easier to talk with someone outside their network support and I provide a safe, confidential space for adolescents to navigate this transformative phase. I am here to help them explore any complex thought and emotions so they can understand themselves and their needs better. While talking is the main modality of the sessions, I am open to incorporate creative techniques to support the exploration of complex feelings an emotions. An example of creative techniques will be the use of metaphors, stories, music, drawing, painting, clay, sand tray and movement.
CHILDREN:
I have extensive experience supporting children and adolescents through various challenges, including school transitions, bereavements, family changes, new siblings, peer difficulties, ADHD and ASD and more. My approach is creative and empathetic, tailored to meet children where they are in their developmental journey.
PARENTS:
I offer sessions to parents whose children are too young to engage in therapy or parents who need strategies to manage particular situations.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over a decade of experience working in various mental health and educational settings including early years, charitable organisations and NHS projects. I have experience in supporting children, young people and adults from all walks of life facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, bereavement and life transition issues. I have over four years of experience working in a charitable service specialising in supporting children and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse as well as supporting non-abusive family members.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
