About me

Whether you're looking for short‑term support with a particular challenge or wanting to explore longer‑standing patterns in your life, we can work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. They’ve often spent years putting others first, carrying emotional burdens quietly, or navigating relationships that have left them feeling unseen, unheard, or unsure of their own needs. Some come with long‑standing patterns around self‑worth, fear, anger, guilt, or isolation; others simply find that life has become harder than it should be and don’t know where to begin.

You don’t need to fit a particular label to reach out. Whether you’re feeling anxious, exhausted, lost, or weighed down by past experiences, we can explore what’s happening for you at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. Together, we create a safe, accepting space to understand the deeper patterns behind your thoughts, feelings, and relationships, helping you reconnect with yourself and move toward lasting change.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face things alone. Whatever has brought you here, you’ll be met with warmth, empathy, and without judgement.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor with three years’ experience working with clients in both private practice and community counselling services. I hold the CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am currently completing the CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in line with their Ethical Framework, ensuring that my practice is safe, professional, and grounded in integrity. My experience includes supporting people through anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self‑worth, loss, and long‑standing emotional patterns.

My approach is person‑centred and relational, with a strong focus on emotional safety, depth, and helping clients reconnect with their own inner resources. I engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure my work remains reflective, ethical, and responsive to each client’s unique needs.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I offer counselling in person, online, and by telephone, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you. Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly.

I also offer a free 20‑minute initial appointment, which gives you a chance to ask questions, share what’s brought you here, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. There’s no obligation to continue afterwards, it’s simply an opportunity to explore whether this space feels supportive for you.

I work with adults aged 18 and over, and aim to make the process as steady, clear, and approachable as possible.
