About me

Life can feel overwhelming, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, or the impact of past experiences, therapy can provide a space to slow down and begin to make sense of things.

I’m a BACP-registered integrative therapist, offering counselling and psychotherapy in Central London (Pimlico) and online.

I don’t believe there’s one single way to do therapy. Instead, I draw from different approaches depending on what feels most supportive for you and your story. At the heart of my work is the relationship we build together and noticing what happens in the therapy room. The patterns that show up between us can give real insight into how you relate to yourself and others, and can become a place to explore new ways of being. Our work together can provide a safe, supportive space to explore emotional patterns, process past experiences, and build practical tools for managing current difficulties.

How I Work -  I draw from a range of perspectives including psychodynamic, person-centred, CBT, and compassion-focused therapies (CFT). While these approaches differ in focus, they share an interest in creating space for reflection and self-understanding.

CFT in particular is a core part of my practice and is especially effective for those struggling with shame, self-criticism, or a harsh inner critic. It helps cultivate compassion, regulate emotions, and develop a more supportive inner dialogue. I also work within a trauma-informed framework, which means I’m mindful of how early experiences and adversity can shape the way we feel, behave, and relate in the present.

Areas of Focus - I work with adults across a wide range of concerns, with particular experience in:

  • Processing trauma and its emotional and relational impact
  • Reducing low self-worth, shame, and self-criticism
  • Managing anxiety, stress, and burnout
  • Exploring and improving patterns in relationships
  • Supporting neurodivergence, including autism and ADHD

Training, qualifications & experience

My ongoing post-qualifying training includes:

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Trauma-informed counselling
  • Working therapeutically with neurodivergent clients

I have worked across a variety of settings including the NHS, homelessness services, and universities. These roles have involved supporting people facing complex trauma, addiction and mental health challenges. I am currently an Autism Specialist in higher education, providing tailored support for neurodivergent students.

This experience has given me a deep respect for the diverse ways people cope with and adapt to life’s challenges. I aim to provide therapy that is both supportive and practical, helping you explore your story, understand your patterns, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
