About me
I am a BACP-registered counsellor offering online therapy and in-person sessions in Shoreditch for adults, adolescents and couples. I bring 10 years’ experience across NHS, third-sector, private, low-cost and educational settings.
You may be seeking therapy because something feels overwhelming, painful, stuck, or hard to understand. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, trauma, grief, identity, relationships, emotional regulation, self-esteem, neurodivergence, chronic health concerns, life transitions, or experiences that have not always been recognised by others.
I work well with people who want a thoughtful, collaborative space to understand themselves more deeply, make sense of patterns, and feel less alone with what they carry. Together, we can explore what is happening now, how past experiences may still be affecting you, and what may help you feel clearer and steadier.
My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT ideas. This means our work can include space to talk freely, reflect on emotional and relational patterns, and develop practical ways forward. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, so the work can be exploratory, reflective, practical, relational, or a mixture of these.
My practice is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and anti-oppressive. I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds and identities, including those navigating racialised, cultural, classed, gendered, sexual, neurodivergent, spiritual, chronic health, migration-related or marginalised experiences. As an American expat who has lived in five countries, I also bring personal and professional understanding of migration, belonging, identity and cultural transition, with extensive experience supporting expats of all ages.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you are used to carrying things alone or have not felt fully understood. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. I offer a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where we can move at your pace and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
