About me
Would you like to understand more about what you are experiencing? Maybe you would like to explore what you need to live the life you truly desire. Would you like to discover more about you?
Navigating life’s challenges can sometimes feel difficult on your own and I can support you to make sense of things, let go of limiting beliefs, know yourself more deeply and work towards your potential.
I have a warm approach and really value the client -therapist relationship. Holding you safely in the work we do together is key to you feeling supported to feel safe to bring whatever you need to the therapy session. I am trained to guide you and work along side you with whatever you choose to bring.
We can explore overwhelming feelings, finding ways to understand your emotional world and work with it. There is potential to grow in self-confidence, raise low self-esteem and build self-worth through therapy. You can understand more about how you relate to yourself and to others in relationships.
My integrative training means that I am trained in several approaches to counselling, I am an experienced counsellor and have supported many people with a broad range of issues.
I have experience in working with anxiety and depression. We can look at ways of managing overthinking and give you tools and strategies to empower you to find a way forward.
I can support you if you have experienced trauma. The therapy takes place at your pace, helping you to feel safe to explore difficult experiences. I have completed additional training to ensure my skills complement this process and I am trauma- informed in my approach.
I have a special interest in working with neurodivergence including Autism and ADHD. We can tailor the sessions in a bespoke way to what you need.
I specialise in working with grief and loss including bereavement, relationship breakdown, life transitions and life losses. I work individually with clients and also run groups working with grief and loss,
I have extensive experience in working with the impact of cancer.
I can work with different approaches within therapy sessions. These include person-centred counselling, psychodynamic counselling and CBT. I work relationally with clients. I also can work creatively with clients who feel drawn to work in this way. This can include methods such as sand tray therapy.
It can help to have a someone to walk alongside you. You can feel less alone and more supported. There is no judgement and you can be heard. It can be a brave step reaching out for therapy, but if it feels the right time, I can offer an introductory call to talk some more about what you need from therapy. From there, if you decide to go ahead, sessions can be in person, online or over the telephone.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
