Counselling can help you to gain an understanding of yourself, ultimately increasing your happiness and confidence, bringing positive changes to your life.

First meeting

Seeking counselling can be a daunting and anxiety provoking process and it is important that you feel comfortable and find the right therapist for you. In our first meeting we can gain a sense of if it feels right for us to work together, you have have no obligation to continue.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone is different, some people come along for a few sessions others for several months or longer. During our initial meeting we can decide together what will be best for you, open-ended or a fixed number of sessions, this can be discussed at any time depending on your needs.
Appointments are once a week for 50 minutes.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority.
