About me
Hello, I’m Nicola.
You don’t have to work through it alone. Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you may not always know exactly what’s wrong or what you need help with. Perhaps you don’t feel quite yourself; you’re feeling anxious, low, stuck or overwhelmed, or you’re struggling to make sense of a particular situation.Reaching out for support can be an important first step. You don’t need to have all the answers before you begin. Sometimes, having a safe space to pause, talk and make sense of things can be enough to start feeling differently.
I work mainly with Transactional Analysis (TA), an approach that can help us understand our thoughts, feelings and behaviours, and how these shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I believe the relationship we build is an important part of therapy.
My aim is to work collaboratively with you, helping you make sense of your experiences and explore.
I offer a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard. Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing at your own pace and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I can support you with a range of issues, including:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Neurodiversity
- Low mood and depression
- Burnout and work-related stress
- Bereavement and loss
- Isolation
- Relationships
- Carer support
- Sexuality
- Self-esteem
- Life changes and transitions
- People-pleasing
- Estrangement
I have a special interest in neurodiversity, carer support and burnout.
