About me

Welcome, I’m Navneet (Nav for short). Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate your challenges alone.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and therapist. This means I draw upon different therapeutic modalities to tailor our sessions specifically to you, ensuring your unique needs remain at the core of our work.

How I Can Support You:

I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to explore whatever is disrupting your daily life. Areas I can offer support with:

  • Emotional difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, or feeling “stuck”
  • Relationship challenges, communication issues, and family conflict
  • Grief, loss, and life transitions
  • Stress, burnout, and pressure from work, study, or personal responsibilities
  • Self‑worth, confidence, identity, and autonomy
  • Cultural and generational expectations, particularly within South Asian communities
  • Navigating guilt, shame, or internalised beliefs
  • Trauma, past experiences, and patterns that continue to affect daily life
  • Personal growth, self‑understanding, and developing healthier coping strategies

Plus many more .....

Culturally Sensitive Therapy:

As someone of South Asian heritage, I possess a deep personal and professional understanding of the unique cultural dynamics, family expectations, and societal pressures that can impact mental health. I offer a culturally informed space where your background is inherently understood, sparing you from having to explain the complex nuances of your community or traditions.

Whatever you are carrying, we will work through it together at your own pace.

If this resonates with you and your still here thinking could this work for me, please get in touch and lets work it out together.

I offer a free 20 minute introductory video-call where we can have a chat to see if together we might be the right fit for you.

I work online only, predominantly via videocall.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
