About me

Hello, My name is Natasha,  I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor.

Therapy can offer a place for you to identify, acknowledge and understand what has lead you to seek help.

I offer a space for you to come and take a pause, you don’t have to feel like you  have things worked out, or to know where you are headed. It is a place to be able to say things out loud and see what lies underneath, what you have been holding, or stuck with.

My passion lies in understanding how we manage our need to connect and relate to people in our lives. As human beings we are innately driven to connect with people, literally for our survival, this is what being human means, to connect and attach.

From our imprinting in childhood to making sense of our thinking and feelings, is a lifelong quest, a learning that is like no other, because it means you are learning how to explore differently, be curious, understand your thinking, and to heal.

I acknowledge your courage in looking for a therapist, showing curiosity in how therapy might offer support.

My work is rooted in integrative therapy which is underpinned by an awareness of the impact of early relational attachments and the ways in which trauma impacts our development. What this means in practice is that I seek to work with the whole of the person in a way that is uniquely tailored to their needs and goals. My style is relational; I do not seek to, nor have the power to 'do' to or for you. What I hope to offer is a relationship of mutual respect, commitment, and integrity. I'm interested in how we impact and are impacted by one another and those around us.

I have extended my training and learning, to enable me to work within an attachment informed  psychotherapeutic approach, offering you a safe and non judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace which feels right for you.

It is only when we feel safe enough, respected, honoured, and nurtured that we can begin to take risks with ourselves and another. In therapy, this can take time and can make us feel exposed and vulnerable. In a good therapeutic relationship, I would hope there to be acknowledgement of this and a collaborative approach to the depth and pace of the work.

Each of us come into therapy with our own unique experiences, history, worldview, hopes, personality, and personal preferences. I believe that it is important to find a therapist who you feel you can work well with. . I offer you an introductory call for us to connect and openly discuss your needs.

Training, qualifications & experience

My training and experience is integrative drawing on a humanistic foundation to offer you an holistic experience, your mind & body, that hold the emotions and feelings that perhaps have been held for too long to feel manageable. I am able to integrate an attachment informed psychotherapeutic approach focusing on how early childhood bonds with family members/care givers shape adult relationships, emotional regulation and self view.

I am committed to regular, ongoing continued professional development. I undertake a variety of additional trainings annually to continue to enhance my clinical practice and maintain professional standards and integrity.
