About me
Welcome, I'm Natalie. I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Art Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, and am accredited with the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). I hold an up to date DBS certificate and have full indemnity insurance. I have many years experience of working for the NHS, Social Services and the charity sector, working with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience.
I work with individuals offering both short term and long term work. After an initial phone call there is no obligation to continue if you decide not to. You and I may use the time to discuss the personal or professional issues for which you are considering therapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together and then we can decide if my Art Therapy practice is right for you.
My aim for your therapy is to concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported, and tailor the therapy to suit you and your needs.
I work with young people from 15 years old, adults and older adults
I believe that every client should be treated as an individual, taking personal needs and wants into consideration. I have always found this to be effective in building strong and productive relationships with previous and present clients.
I work with people aged 16+

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
