About me

Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or past experiences that continue to affect you. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or simply need a space to talk and make sense of things.

Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.

My name is Natalie, and I'm an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering a compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I believe that feeling heard, understood and accepted is at the heart of meaningful change. Together, we can explore your experiences, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and work towards a way of living that feels more fulfilling and authentic.

I support adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

Anxiety, stress and depression
Low self-esteem, self-worth and perfectionism
Trauma and difficult childhood experiences
Sexual assault and domestic abuse
Relationship difficulties and attachment patterns
Bereavement, loss and life transitions
ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence
Identity, emotional regulation and overwhelm

You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what's troubling you to begin counselling.

Our early relationships and life experiences can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others and respond to the world. Sometimes, patterns that once helped us cope can become difficult to understand or change.

I have a particular interest in trauma-informed counselling, including the impact of childhood experiences, sexual assault, domestic abuse and intergenerational trauma.

My approach is integrative and person-centred, meaning that you, your experiences and your individual needs are at the heart of our work together. I believe in the importance of a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood and supported without judgement.

Drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT theories, alongside parts-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and an understanding of structural dissociation, I tailor our work to your unique experiences and needs.

Where helpful, I also incorporate psychoeducation, exploring how the nervous system responds to stress, trauma and difficult experiences. Developing an understanding of these responses can help make sense of your emotions, behaviours and coping strategies, fostering greater self-awareness and self-compassion.

Our work is collaborative and guided by your readiness, emotional wellbeing and sense of safety. There is no pressure to revisit painful experiences before you're ready; we will work at a pace that feels right for you.

Living with ADHD, Autism or other forms of neurodivergence can bring challenges around emotional regulation, relationships, self-esteem and feeling understood. You may feel overwhelmed, struggle with self-criticism or have spent years trying to meet others' expectations.

Counselling offers an opportunity to explore these experiences without judgement, understand yourself more deeply and develop a more compassionate relationship with who you are.

My approach is neurodivergence-affirming, recognising that you don't need to change who you are to deserve understanding and support.

An affirming space for gender, sexuality and relationships
I am committed to GSRD-aware counselling, respecting the diversity of gender, sexuality and relationship structures.

Whether you're exploring your identity, navigating relationships or processing difficult experiences, I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel accepted without judgement or assumptions.

Supporting the Performing Arts

Alongside my therapeutic work, I have had the privilege of working within musical theatre and the wider performing arts industry, including on cruise ships, touring productions and in London’s West End. My experience has given me an insight into the unique pressures and challenges that can come with working within this industry, including performance anxiety, rejection, comparison, perfectionism, identity, self-worth, career uncertainty and the demands of an often unpredictable career.

I now have the privilege of supporting people from across the performing arts industry through my counselling work, including musicians, performers, choreographers, lighting and sound designers, backstage crew and other creative and technical professionals. My counselling is open to anyone working within the industry, recognising that the pressures of the performing arts can affect everyone, both on and off stage.

I am also delighted to have recently returned to where my own journey in the performing arts began, as a counsellor at London Studio Centre, supporting the next generation of performers as they navigate the challenges and opportunities that come with training and pursuing a career in the industry.

Bringing together my personal experience of the performing arts with my therapeutic training allows me to offer a space where those working within the industry can feel understood, supported and able to step away from the pressures of their professional world.
