About me
I am a transpersonal / integrative and IFS therapist that believes there are many ways to work therapeutically. At the heart of them all is the sacred act of attuning to the experience of the other, without judgement or criticism. I pledge to give you, my client, a space to just be.
I will accept whatever you bring with compassion and curiosity, especially those parts of yourself that may feel broken, ashamed, misunderstood or overwhelmed.
Together, we will create the conditions for a unique journey inwards. Therapy will be a space where you can express everything freely: your dreams, joy, aspirations, struggles and deepest fears. You will develop the skills to integrate all aspects of yourself and begin to feel an increasing acceptance of your whole Self, just as you are.
This journey will not be easy but truly worthwhile things in life rarely are. It requires courage and commitment to explore what may take you into difficult and uncharted territory. As your therapist, I am committed to being by your side, in a safe, confidential setting, while holding a deep faith in your capacity for transformation.
Judgements, narrow definitions of morality and pathology play little role in your journey inwards. Rather, psychotherapy is the creative process of opening up to the authenticity that is at your core. With perseverance, you will develop greater access to your true Self and the power of conscious awareness.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I will draw from psychodynamic, existential, humanistic, and IFS approaches. The aim is to create a confidential, safe therapeutic space that best serves your needs. As a transpersonal therapist, I do this while also holding a reverence for that which connects us all.
Training, qualifications & experience
Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (MUKCP).
Internal Family Systems Level 3 Practitioner.

I work with a wide variety of issues including: depression; anxiety; sexual, emotional and physical abuse; complex trauma; suicidal ideation; addictions; issues of cultural diversity, intersectionality and experiences as “other”; life crises; relationship problems; personal grief, bereavement and loss; climate anxiety and ecological grief.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I work holistically, using body centred and nervous system aware approaches to integrate body, mind and emotions with conscious awareness. I am also formally trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy (L3):

I have a particular interest in the experience of alienation and disconnection in our contemporary culture: How do issues of intersectionality, race and cultural diversity affect our wellbeing? What are the psychological impacts of living in the Anthropocene?
I also facilitate Climate Cafe groups in Oxford, where members of the public bring their thoughts and feelings about the climate crisis.
I welcome all, those of faith or none, and hold an awareness of and curiosity for the issues we face as unique individuals, rather than focusing narrowly on pathology.
I am a full clinical member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
