About me
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, especially when life feels heavy or unclear. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel deeply heard, understood, and supported—and this is the foundation of the work I offer.
I am a fully qualified and registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I work in line with their ethical codes of practice. Over the years, I’ve supported clients through grief, trauma, identity struggles, and complex relational challenges. Furthermore, I am undertaking specialist training in relationship and psychosexual therapy and work affirmatively with LGBTQI+ clients exploring identity, intimacy, desire, relational patterns and sexual wellbeing.
My background includes extensive work within bereavement services, where I walked alongside individuals navigating profound loss and the disorientation that follows.
My commitment to this work is shaped not only by my professional experience, but also by my own journey through therapy. I know what it is like to sit in the client’s chair—to feel vulnerable, hopeful, uncertain—and to discover how transformative it can be to be truly seen and accepted. This lived experience informs the grounded, compassionate, and steady presence I bring into the therapeutic space.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor the way I work to what you need. My foundation is person-centred, offering warmth, empathy, and a non-judgmental space where you can move at your own pace. Alongside this, I draw on attachment theory, psychodynamic perspectives, and trauma-informed practice to help us explore deeper patterns, relational wounds, and the emotional landscapes that shape your present-day experiences.
Therapy with me is collaborative. We will work together to make sense of your story, understand the roots of your struggles, and support you in developing a stronger sense of self, clearer boundaries, and greater emotional resilience.
My practice is regularly supervised, and I continue to stay engaged with ongoing training and developments in mental health and wellbeing—ensuring that my work is ethical, informed, and attuned to your needs.
If you are considering this first step, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply and move towards the change you’re seeking.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
