About me
Are past experiences impacting on your day-to-day life or your relationships?
Are you feeling lost and looking for a space where you can unpack your thoughts and feelings to make sense of them?
I offer a collaborative space where we can explore the themes that bring you to therapy and support you in getting a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs. Many people seek therapy with the goal of “feeling better” – I am interested in what “better” looks like to you. What are the aspects of your life or yourself that you need to take a closer look at?
My role is to offer a professional relationship in which you feel heard and accepted for who you are and encourage you in your healing and growth process. Our work together will be grounded in who you are as a person and how you would like to see change in your life.
I work from the person-centred model. This means that I see you as the expert on yourself. Your direction and pace will guide the therapeutic process. Your thoughts, emotions and experiences will be held with empathy and understanding in a space that is free from judgement. The therapeutic space offers an opportunity to relate to your experiences differently and navigate your inner world with more acceptance and compassion.
We come from different walks of life. I am particularly aware of how difference can show up in the therapy room and outside of it - I am here to receive your experiences and where you find yourself just as you are. I have experience and interest in working with trauma, neurodiversity and identity issues.
I warmly encourage you to get in contact if you are interested to see what working together can bring.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
