About me

You might look like you’re coping.

You’re holding everything together, work, family, responsibilities, but underneath it feels relentless. The mental load never really switches off, and even when you rest, your mind doesn’t.

You might be noticing changes in yourself, your energy, your mood, your patience, your capacity. Hormonal shifts, perimenopause or menopause might be part of it. You might be questioning whether you’re neurodivergent, or starting to understand yourself in a way you never have before.

Or maybe there isn’t a clear explanation, just a growing sense that you can’t keep living like this.

I’ve spent over a decade working with people who are used to being the capable one. The one who manages, organises, holds everything together for everyone else, often at the expense of themselves.

Women often recognise themselves here, but this experience isn’t exclusive to women.

My approach is relational, which means we work together to understand what’s happening underneath the surface. Not just what’s going on, but why and what’s been driving it for so long.

This isn’t about pushing you to change everything or become a different version of yourself. It’s about creating space to think, to feel, and to begin responding to your life in a way that actually fits your capacity.

You might recognise yourself here:

Feeling constantly “on” and unable to properly switch off
Holding a level of responsibility that feels relentless
Exhausted, but still pushing through
Snapping more than you used to, or feeling less like yourself
Questioning what’s happening to you, physically, emotionally, mentally
Trying to understand yourself through a neurodivergent or hormonal lens
Knowing something needs to change, but not knowing where to start

In our work together, you’ll have a space that is steady, thoughtful and free from judgement. A space where you don’t have to hold everything together.

I offer a free initial consultation so we can get a sense of whether we feel like the right fit to work together.

I keep my caseload intentionally small so I can give each client the attention and depth this work deserves.

I offer both face-to-face and online sessions to suit your needs.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
