About me

Hello, I’m a warm, approachable and down-to-earth counsellor who offers a safe and supportive place where you can talk things through openly and feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

With a lifetime of personal experience and an extensive professional background supporting children, young people, adults and their families through complex challenges. I bring authenticity, kindness and a real-world understanding to my work.

I have worked with individuals facing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, grief, identity struggles, neurodiversity, life transitions and the lasting effects of adversity. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, lost or simply in need of support, I offer a space where we can work through life’s challenges together.

How I Can Help

My approach is compassionate, practical and tailored to you. I support clients to:

  • Build emotional resilience and confidence
  • Improve relationships and communication
  • Navigate trauma, grief and loss
  • Manage anxiety, low mood and overwhelm
  • Explore identity, self-worth and personal growth
  • Develop healthier coping strategies
  • Create meaningful, lasting change

I understand that every person’s journey is unique, which is why I work flexibly and tailor my approach to suit your individual needs. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), CBT and Attachment-based work, helping you gain clarity, build strength, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

The Person Behind the Counsellor

At the heart of my work is a genuine passion for people. I am kind, calm, approachable and honest, with a dry sense of humour and a deeply caring nature. I am someone who sees the best in others, values trust and believes in creating strong, supportive relationships.

Outside of counselling, I value family, nature, wellbeing and personal growth. I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves and I am committed to offering that space for every client I work with.

Working Together

Building the right therapeutic relationship is important, which is why I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. This gives us the opportunity to talk through your needs, answer any questions and see whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
