About me

I am a group analytic psychotherapist offering both group and individual psychotherapy.

My work is grounded in the belief that emotional difficulties are shaped within relationships, social contexts, and the wider world we live in - and that healing often happens from there too.

I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space to explore distress, patterns of relating, and questions of meaning, whether these show up in your personal life, work, or relationships

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a group and individual psychotherapist with 18 years experience. I have worked extensively within private practice, the voluntary sector, and the NHS in a range of roles and settings, which include psychiatric, forensic, and addiction services.

Working in these varied contexts has deepened my understanding of the complexity of people’s lives and the many factors that shape wellbeing.

Alongside my clinical work, I am involved in the training and support of psychotherapists. I previously worked as a Senior Psychotherapist at WPF Psychotherapy. I continue to provide clinical supervision, reflective practice, and staff support spaces for those providing psychological services. I value creating reflective environments to support those working with people. I trained at Goldsmiths, University of London, qualifying in 2008 with both a Postgraduate Diploma andan MA in Psychotherapy.

I am accredited and registered by the United Kingdom Counselling and Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Universities Psychotherapy & Counselling Association (UPCA). I am also a member of the Group Analytic Society International.

I also work as part of a therapeutic community in London Bridge with Number 42.

Fees

£25.00 - £95.00

Additional information

My fees depend on many aspects, as I operate a sliding scale. Generally speaking. Group psychotherapy can be a more affordable option, although not a lesser option.

My aim will be to meet you in person and discuss your psychotherapy needs prior to making a recommendation around modality.

I  am committed to making my fees inclusive and affordable, as psychotherapy is not a quick fix and involves a time commitment.

Further information

I have extensive experience through many areas of work, from NHS psychiatric settings to the forensic and voluntary sector, and private practice psychotherapy. I have also been involved in the training and supervision of other psychotherapists and have published writing on psychotherapy.
