About me
Hi, I'm Matt, I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just unsure where to turn, please know that you're not alone.
I offer a safe, supportive, and non judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard.
Life can be challenging, whether you are struggling with loss, anxiety, low self esteem, or simply trying to make sense of your emotions. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you feel heard and empowered as we navigate your concerns together.
My approach is gentle, empathetic and carried out with honesty, integrity and warmth. I draw upon different therapeutic models such as Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Gestalt Therapy to offer a holistic and tailored approach to your well-being and unique needs.
I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, our sessions will be a relaxed, compassionate and open space where you can be yourself and feel valued. There’s no pressure, no judgment - just a place where we can explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace. Whether you’re looking for short-term support or longer-term healing, I’ll be here with empathy and understanding.
I work with a wide range of issues; bereavement, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, family issues, trauma, navigating life transitions, or a desire for personal growth.
I recognise the importance of finding the right counsellor, therefore I offer a free, no obligation 30 minute chat either online or on the phone.
Please feel free to reach out for an initial conversation. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm based In Devon, currently I'm only able to offer sessions online or on the phone. Moving forward, I hope to offer face to face sessions when it is possible.
