About me
Healing often begins with reaching out — not because you’re failing, but because carrying everything alone has become too heavy.
Life can feel relentless at times, and even when things look “fine” on the outside, many people feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or simply worn down inside.
You may notice your mind rarely switches off, your body stays tense, or your emotions feel either too much or strangely distant. You might be coping — functioning, working, caring — but without much space to slow down, feel supported, or make sense of what’s happening within you.
Therapy offers a place where you don’t have to manage on your own.
Support that meets you where you are.
My approach is grounded, relational, and focused on what you’re experiencing now. We work at a pace that feels manageable, paying attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to how stress and pressure live in the body.
Some clients want practical support to feel calmer and more balanced. Others want space to reflect, process, and understand themselves better. There is no expectation to go anywhere you don’t want to — we focus on what feels most helpful for you.
Clients often come to therapy to:
-feel less overwhelmed or anxious
-improve emotional balance and resilience
-strengthen boundaries and relationships
-reconnect with themselves
-navigate transitions, pressure, or uncertainty
Alongside conversation, I offer simple, effective tools to support emotional regulation and nervous-system steadiness — techniques you can use in everyday life when things feel intense.
A steady space to breathe and recalibrate.
Sessions provide a contained, compassionate space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to respond to life with more clarity rather than constant effort. Over time, many clients notice they feel more grounded, more confident in their choices, and better able to meet challenges without losing themselves.
You set the direction. My role is to support you with care, curiosity, and respect.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
