About me

Life can often be overwhelming, leaving you feeling stuck, isolated, or as though you've lost control over it. As a counsellor trained in humanistic and trauma-informed practices, I understand the profound impact these challenges can have on your emotional and physical well-being, as well as on your relationships, work, and family connections.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative, allowing us to work together to explore your experiences and find meaningful ways to regain control, confidence, and balance in your life. Together, we can uncover your inner strength and develop healthier strategies for navigating life's challenges. I understand that every person is unique, and healing requires a holistic and tailored process that honours the mind, body and spirit.

Drawing from diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including person-centred, existentialism, gestalt I integrate evidence-based techniques to create a flexible and personalised framework for each client. My trauma-informed practice recognises the profound impact of adverse experiences on mental health and prioritises safety, trust , and empowerment throughout our work together.

I have experience assisting clients with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to:

 - Depression
 - Anxiety
 - Stress
 - PTSD
 - Adverse childhood experiences
 - Family issues
 - Relationship problems
 - Narcissistic relationships
 - Low self-esteem
 - Intrusive thoughts
 - Bereavement/loss

Whether we are focusing on processing past experiences, managing current struggles, or building tools for brighter future, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and care as you find your path to healing and growth.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and creative exploration to help clients access deeper levels of understanding and connection. I believe in fostering therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and empowering, guiding you to reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
