About me

Your strength. Your story. Your hero. Be it.

When I meet a client for the first time, I can see the courage it took for them to reach out. I know how hard it is to take that step, especially when life feels overwhelming—when stress, self-doubt, or a sense of being stuck makes it hard to see the way forward.

I understand because I’ve been there too. I know how easy it is to believe that someone else holds the answers or that we’re waiting for something outside of us to change. But here’s what I’ve learned: every single one of us has strength within us. We all have a story worth telling, and our own unique hero is already inside us, waiting to be discovered.

When clients come to me, they often feel unsure or afraid of being judged. I want you to know that in my space, there’s no judgment—only empathy and a genuine commitment to help. My role isn’t to “fix” you because you’re not broken. It’s to help you uncover your strength, embrace your story, and recognise that you are the hero of your own life.

Your strength is what will carry you through life’s challenges, even when it feels like it’s not there. Your story is unique, and you have the power to rewrite it—to reclaim the narrative and make it one of growth and empowerment. And your hero? That’s you. You are capable of overcoming obstacles, of rising above struggles, and of creating the life you want.

I’ve seen incredible transformations when clients start to believe in themselves—to realise that they already have what it takes to thrive. They just needed the right guidance and space to see it clearly.

Your strength. Your story. Your hero. Be it.

If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed, I want you to know that you’re not alone. You have more resilience and courage than you might believe right now. Together, we can uncover the tools you already have to face life’s challenges and step into the role of the hero you were meant to be.

Are you ready to take that step? Let’s start this journey together. Reach out today, and let’s unlock the strength, story, and hero within you.

BACP

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I believe that everyone is unique and that this uniqueness should be embraced. I understand that one type of counselling or therapy is not always suitable for my clients. I work with my clients ensuring that their needs are met during their journey with me. My relationship with my clients is the most important aspect of how I work. Just like other forms of relationships I may not be a good fit. I am very much a "what you see is what you get counsellor" who will be your 'wing woman' walking with you towards a happier YOU and someone who will become their own HERO!
