About me
I am an experienced Person Centred Counsellor, Trainer and Supervisor. I am also a Life Coach and Hypnotherapist. I offer a safe and supportive space to all of my clients. I offer virtual, phone and face to face counselling. As a fully qualified BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Life Coach/Hypnotherapist, I provide counselling sessions, Coaching or Hypnotherapy and also a blended approach, based on the individual needs of the person. I work with both individuals and couples at their own pace, this can be on an open-ended basis, short term therapy, or for an agreed time period, depending on your preference. This is with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully so that you can achieve the positive changes that you desire.
Whether you are suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem, overwhelm, ADHD, emotional distress, stress, abuse, self-harm, depression to relationship problems. I believe in offering an accepting, warm, understanding and non-judgemental listening environment in which clients can explore whatever is concerning them most, I want my clients to have the most positive and successful experience that they can, in order to help them move forward with their lives. I believe that the relationship between the client and the Counsellor/Coach/Hypnotherapist is the essence to an effective and successful outcome within the therapeutic relationship.
I offer a free 30-minute phone call or Zoom session where we can talk through any questions you may have and agree how you would like us to move forward together. I offer both open-ended, short term therapy, or for an agreed time period, depending on your needs - the choice is always yours.
I can offer a blended approach, working integratively, ensuring that your therapy is tailored to meet your individual needs.
My private practice provides a safe and confidential space for us to work together. I also work online, telephone & zoom. My counselling practice is within easy reach of Rickmansworth station, and the M25. It is on the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire border (Northwood, Watford, Little Chalfont, Amersham, Chorleywood, Denham, Uxbridge are all close by. There is adequate parking and if commuting by train it is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the metropolitan line station.
I am experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist/Life Coach/Hypnotherapist working in a variety of fields including the corporate world. I am a qualified accountant and I was previously a Finance Director and a Director of Operations, so I have a got lots of insight for what you might be experiencing in the corporate world. I also work with a variety of agencies.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) whose ethical framework I abide by. I also offer Person Centred Supervision to groups and individuals. I run Bereavement Groups and courses on Bereavement/NLP/ Coaching etc.

I take a monthly Bereavement Group on behalf of Cruse Bereavement and I facilitate a six-week Closed Group on behalf of Cruse Bereavement. I also run a Social Group for Cruse and I run Group Supervision for Cruse.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I am a recognised service provider with a number of the main private healthcare companies.
£60 per hour for individuals, £80 for couples for an hour and a quarter. Supervision sessions of 1.5 hours in line with BACP requirements are charged at £75.
