MSc. Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor, UKCP & MBACP

About me

It can take courage to start therapy and I understand for some the prospect may be quite daunting. My approach is warm and down to earth. I believe in working at your own pace whilst getting to know one another. Working creatively and intuitively, I draw on a range of integrative theories including psychodynamic, humanistic and existential to suit the unique needs of the individual and foster hope.

I offer a non judgemental space where trust can be built and feelings shared.   As our past often shapes our present, I believe in working collaboratively to explore current and past hurts with compassion. By making sense of any patterns, behaviour or events we can make meaning of your story.  We can try to lay old ghosts to rest so you can reach a place of acceptance, and move on with your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and a registered member of the BACP. I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling, and believe we all have our own tale to tell.  As such, I have been supporting individuals in crisis for 14 years, listening to their side of the story.  Having first worked as a reflexologist, I later trained as an integrative psychotherapist at the Metanoia Institute in London. I have worked at several low-cost counselling services, including a bereavement agency during the Covid-19 pandemic. I also have substantial experience working with anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, domestic abuse, life transitions, loss, trauma and ptsd.

Having lived and studied abroad, I appreciate cultural differences and have been shaped by my own experiences. As a previous somatic practitioner, I am interested in how the body holds onto our unspoken emotion, and how rarely we take time to listen.

I now work in private practice based in West London, face-to-face and online, and abide by the UKCP & BACP Code of Ethics. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact me and we can take it from there.
