About me
People come to therapy for all sorts of reasons:
- difficult previous or current life experiences, such as bereavement
- life transitions, such as divorce
- challenges in relationships
- improving self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence
- managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions
There does not have to be anything 'wrong' for someone to come to therapy. Mental health is like physical health - it needs nourishment and maintenance, much like going to the gym.
Therapy can help you:
- understand yourself better
- handle situations more easily
- maintain healthier boundaries
In the famous words of Rumi...
'And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?'

I am a UKCP-accredited psychotherapist with experience working in both the NHS and private practice. I see clients face-to-face in London and work online across the UK and internationally (except the USA and Canada).
Training, qualifications & experience
My training integrates person-centred therapy, transactional analysis and gestalt therapy. Working compassionately and collaboratively, I support clients in building understanding, strengthening autonomy, and improving their quality of life. I hold a Master's degree in Integrative, Relational Humanistic Psychotherapy from the renowned Metanoia Institute. Prior to this, I worked within a crisis intervention team and in educational settings as a pastoral support worker. I hold certificates in maternal mental health, cultural awareness and issues relating to racism, developmental trauma, suicide and self-injury, safeguarding and ethical practice. I am also training in NICE-approved Counselling for Depression (CfD) and IAPT assessments, including referrals and collaboration with external agencies. I also hold a certificate in couples counselling.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
