Accredited Counsellour for Child, Young Person & Adults

About me

I particularly support overwhelmed teenagers, anxious adults, parents experiencing burnout, and neurodivergent clients struggling with self-worth, emotional regulation, or feeling misunderstood.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in cycles of self-doubt and worry. Together, we create a safe, compassionate space to explore what may be contributing to these feelings, helping you better understand yourself while developing healthier coping strategies, emotional resilience, and self-worth.

I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with:

* Anxiety and separation anxiety
* ADHD and neurodiversity
* Autism spectrum conditions
* Trauma and difficult life experiences
* Self-harm and emotional regulation difficulties
* Low self-esteem and self-worth
* Burnout and chronic stress
* Family, school, relationship, and work-related pressures
* Mental health and emotional wellbeing challenges

For children and young people, I provide a calm, nurturing environment where they can express themselves safely and at their own pace. I work creatively and relationally to help young people build emotional awareness, confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

I understand that seeking support can feel daunting, especially when you have been carrying things alone for a long time. My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental, allowing clients to feel heard, supported, and understood.

Therapy options available:

* In-person counselling
* Online counselling (Zoom or Teams)
* Telephone counselling
* Walking therapy
* Home visits* (where appropriate)

Whether you are looking for support for your child, struggling with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, burnout, or low self-worth, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin healing.

I aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hours. You do not have to navigate it alone.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Accredited Professional member of NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society)
  • Member of BACP (British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling)
  • Member of BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies)

My experience is based on helping clients navigate their challenges with compassion and understanding. My experience also extends to supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and individuals from ethnic minorities, addressing their specific needs and creating a safe, inclusive space for open dialogue. Throughout my journey, I have honed my skills in active listening, empathy and fostering trust, enabling me to guide clients through personal growth, resilience and self-discovery. This work has deepened my appreciation for diversity and taught me the value of meeting each person where they are and providing tailored support to empower them in their lives.
