About me
I am a psychosexual and relationship therapist. But beyond the qualifications, I am someone who genuinely cares - about the people who sit across from me, about the communities I serve, and about breaking down the silence that surrounds so many of the struggles my clients carry.
What I love most about this work is offering a safe, nonjudgmental space - somewhere you can share things maybe no one else in the world knows about. I get to be part of a small chapter in your life, but I hope to leave it a little better than I found it. There is nothing more precious to me than sitting with someone in a vulnerable moment - when they share a mistake or a painful memory - and being able to hold that with compassion.
I didn’t come to this work by chance. I chose it because I saw a gap: conversations that weren’t happening and very little support for women and couples quietly struggling in an area of life few therapists are trained to address.
Having lived across the Middle East and the UK, I have moved between cultures, languages, and ways of understanding the world. That journey shaped who I am: genuinely curious about people, and committed to meeting every client exactly where they are - whatever their background, faith, or walk of life.
For Women, common things I help with include:
- Low libido and concerns around desire
- Sexual pain conditions, including vaginismus and dyspareunia
- Difficulties with arousal or orgasm
- Sexual anxiety
- Body disconnection and reclaiming intimacy with yourself
- Intimacy after childbirth or illness
- The impact of pornography use
- Body image difficulties
- Psychosomatic symptoms linked to relationship or psychosexual stress
- Recovery for survivors of sexual, emotional, or verbal abuse
For Couples, common things I help with include:
- Premarital counselling
- Communication breakdown and emotional distance
- Navigating conflict
- Fulfilling each other’s needs and increasing relationship satisfaction
- Settling into marriage
- In-law and extended family dynamics
- Parenting differences and adjusting to parenthood
- Infertility
- Differing levels of desire between partners
- Rebuilding trust after affairs, infidelity, or betrayal
- Boundaries and codependency

- Emotional or verbal abuse, whether current or in its aftermath
These lists aren’t exhaustive - they’re here to give you a sense of the breadth of what I work with, not a complete inventory of every situation I can help with.
My hope is that you leave feeling more at home in yourself - back in your body, and a little more sure of who you are.
I believe deeply in the unique, beautiful love between spouses, and I want to help you nourish it and make it last a lifetime.
I work exclusively with women and couples; I do not currently offer one-to-one sessions for men.
If you’ve struggled to find a therapist who understands both the clinical and the cultural - someone who speaks your language, understands your context, and won’t make you explain your background before you can talk about what’s actually wrong - I’d love to hear from you. Reaching out is the hardest part. You don’t have to have the words figured out yet.

Before specialising, I worked with Muslim clients and volunteered to support women from many different walks of life through a range of mental health challenges. I then spent two years working within the NHS, helping couples and women from all walks of life, before setting up my own private practice - where I could offer the kind of care I have always believed people deserve.
What a session looks like really depends on what you bring in. Sometimes we look at where certain patterns might be coming from, sometimes much further back than the relationship itself. Other times, we work through a situation practically, looking for solutions together. Throughout, I hold a space where you can talk and be truly listened to - staying open-minded and non-judgmental about any mistakes or regrets, because that’s often where the real work begins. For psychosexual concerns, I’ll sometimes set homework between sessions, and I often help couples get clearer on what they actually want and need from each other and how to say it.
I’m known for being calm and patient, and there’s room for lightness in our sessions - we often end up laughing together. I also like to draw on proverbs when they fit, especially ones that carry meaning across the cultures I’ve lived in.
Clinically, I draw on humanistic and person-centred approaches, CBT, attachment theory, transactional analysis, and visualisation techniques, alongside psychoeducation. Sex sits at the intersection of biology and psychology, so where relevant, I also liaise with other professionals - such as gynaecologists or physiotherapists - to make sure you’re getting joined-up, whole-person care.
I am committed to my own ongoing professional development and engage in regular clinical supervision.

Further information
Sessions are offered in both English and Arabic. I work with adults (18+), and I am based in London, currently offering all sessions online. Sessions are 50 minutes; for some couples, 90-minute sessions are also available (with adjusted pricing - see Fees below).
All sessions are confidential, and I am registered with the ICO for data protection.
My assessment sessions go deep - we’ll look at your history, including your childhood and significant life experiences, to understand the full picture of what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll also explore your goals together - including what it would look like if therapy went well for you. This usually takes up to two sessions, after which we shape a plan for our work together, based on what’s actually going on for you.
If you have questions about how online sessions work, or whether this feels like the right fit before committing to anything, please don’t hesitate to get in touch - I’m happy to talk it through. You can reach me directly via the email or phone number listed on this profile.
