About me
About Me
Hi I'm Louise
About me and my therapy practice
Hello and Welcome
My journey to becoming a Qualified Counsellor is shaped by over 21 years of experience as a HCPC Registered Paramedic. Having worked on the frontline, I truly understand the immense pressures and challenges that come with these roles.
Life can feel overwhelming at times and we can feel stuck and unable to move forward. I am an Integrative Therapist. This means that I draw on several therapeutic modalities to best meet your individual needs. We can regularly review our work together to ensure you are finding it helpful.
Whether you are facing one of life's big obstacles such as Trauma, Grief/Loss, Depression, Anxiety, issues with Self-Worth, Addiction, or if you are struggling with life generally.
I also offer sessions to front-line workers experiencing stress, burnout, confusion, and overwhelm including PTSD.
I offer a safe and confidential online space to support you to work through these issues.
Practice description
I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental space so you can feel safe to explore and so that we can have an honest and open dialogue. Whilst regular, weekly sessions are usually the most effective, I have a flexible approach to therapy and we would regularly review and adapt as needed. I offer online and face to face settings. My first session
Our first session is all about getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. We'll have an informal chat to understand your background, what brought you to counselling, and your aims and goals.
