About me

You'd like to feel better about yourself, your life, your future, but you're struggling to engage with life following physical illness. Navigating life's challenges, especially illness, can be daunting. It's more common than you might imagine to experience mental health concerns following illness, such as depression and anxiety. If you're feeling uncertain about how to cope, now might be a good time to connect with a therapist who can help. Let's work together to develop strategies that help you to fully engage with your life as it is now, so that you feel empowered to live well.

I offer individual psychological therapy to adults navigating acute or chronic illnesses, including post-COVID conditions, chronic fatigue syndrome, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and adenomyosis. A broad spectrum of mental health challenges can accompany such health struggles, including depression, anxiety and challenges to self-identity. It's why I established Counselling Psychology For You – to provide tailored and timely psychological support, precisely when you need it most.

My expertise lies in supporting individual clients to develop strategies to manage their personal experiences of illness. I help my clients to:

- Gain clarity about what it means to live well
- Take steps towards concrete change through committed action
- Engage with difficult thoughts and feelings
- Navigate life’s challenges with confidence
- Build deeper relationships - with themselves, with others and with their environment
- Feel understood and supported.

I’ve been a therapist for a decade now, and have seen how supportive psychological therapy can help clients to courageously reimagine what life might offer. Submit your request via The Counselling Directory or book a free discovery call via my website: http://counsellingpsychologyforyou.com. Together, let's move beyond feeling stuck, so that you can live well.

My experience as a psychologist has been within both private practice and private hospitals in London and the Middle East.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
