About me
Sometimes life changes in ways you didn't choose and didn't plan for. An illness diagnosis. A relationship ending. A career that's gone. A loss that's altered everything. Whatever brought you here, something has shifted — and the person you expected to be feels harder to find.
You might be tired of coping, pushing through, and appearing fine on the outside while feeling anxious, low, or emotionally worn down inside. Therapy is a space to set that down for a while — and to start making sense of what's actually happening.
I offer online psychological therapy for adults navigating the emotional impact of unwanted life change. This includes people living with chronic illness, long-term health conditions, or health-related uncertainty — as well as those facing bereavement, relationship breakdown, career loss, infertility, or major life transitions. What these experiences share is the sense of a life that no longer matches the one you expected, and a self you're still trying to understand.
Many people I work with describe grief for their former life, fear about the future, and a constant pressure to cope or appear okay. These responses aren't weaknesses — they're understandable reactions to very real challenges.
Therapy with me offers a calm, structured space grounded in your real-world circumstances. We make sense of what's happening emotionally, identify patterns that increase distress, and strengthen your ability to respond with clarity and steadiness. Alongside this, we develop practical ways of managing anxiety, low mood, and day-to-day functioning — whether that means coping with uncertainty, managing emotional overwhelm, or finding ways to live meaningfully within circumstances that may not be fully within your control.
The focus isn't on fixing you or returning you to who you were before. It's on helping you find a genuine way forward from where you are now.
I am a UK-trained Counselling Psychologist (HCPC registered, BPS chartered) with over ten years' experience working in private practice and private hospitals in London and the Middle East. I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and have undertaken additional education in neuropsychology.
If you're wondering whether therapy could help, I offer a free 20-minute discovery call — a low-pressure conversation to see whether working together feels right, with no commitment required.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
