About me
Welcome. I’m an experienced and accredited psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, offering a safe, compassionate, and understanding space for your journey towards healing. I provide in-person therapy in Essex as well as online therapy to clients across the UK and beyond. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to help you overcome your challenges.
My Specialities and Approach
I specialise in helping people navigate and overcome issues such as trauma, relationship difficulties, phobias, and addictions. Whether you are struggling with anger, anxiety, depression, stress, or low self-esteem, my goal is to empower you and help you better understand your emotions. Therapy can be a transformative experience, offering new perspectives, healthier ways of managing emotions, and building your confidence.
My approach is integrative, drawing from a range of therapeutic methods including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. I adapt these approaches to suit your individual needs and personal goals, ensuring you receive the most effective care for your circumstances.
Your Therapy Journey
Beginning therapy requires courage, and reaching out is a powerful first step towards positive change. In our initial session, we will take the time to understand your current challenges, explore your history, and discuss your expectations for therapy. From there, we will work together to set meaningful goals and create a treatment plan that feels right for you.
I understand that every individual is unique. My approach with young children, adolescents, and adults differs based on their needs, and I use age-appropriate techniques to provide a comfortable space for every client to feel heard and understood.
A Closer Look at EMDR and Other Techniques
As a certified EMDR practitioner, I help clients process traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive environment. EMDR is a powerful tool for addressing negative beliefs, emotions, and body sensations linked to distressing events. Together, we will work through these past traumas, helping you regain control, confidence, and a healthier outlook on life.
Additionally, I offer Intensive EMDR Therapy for individuals seeking a focused approach over a shorter period. This method can be particularly helpful for those struggling with severe trauma.
Induced After Death Communication (IADC) Therapy is another specialised service I provide. IADC can be a profoundly moving experience for those grieving the loss of a loved one, offering a unique path to comfort, closure, and even a sense of connection to those who have passed away.
Mindfulness and Attachment-Focused Work
I also integrate mindfulness, meditation, and self-care practices into therapy. These approaches help clients to calm their nervous systems and reconnect with their inner selves. For those with attachment-related difficulties, I offer Attachment-Informed Therapy to address early relational wounds and to cultivate healthier relationships with oneself and others.
A Tailored Approach for Each Client
Why choose me as your therapist? You will receive therapy tailored to your specific needs, delivered in a professional, friendly, and non-judgemental environment. I am accredited, fully insured, and committed to providing the highest standard of care. My experience working with people from all walks of life has helped me understand the unique needs of each client and find approaches that resonate with them.
Training, Accreditation, and Credentials

Get in Touch

Whatever you are facing, I am here to listen, help you understand yourself better, and support you every step of the way. I provide a confidential and compassionate environment, helping you navigate difficult emotions and build a life that feels more satisfying and authentic.
If you are ready to take the next step, or if you’d like to find out more, please do not hesitate to get in touch. The hardest part is often making that initial contact but from there, you’ll be building on your own strength. I look forward to supporting you on this journey of healing and growth.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
