About me
I work with children, young people and adults and can offer counselling support for a range of issues including: stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and Neurodiversity.
I also offer neurodiversity coaching for ADHD and ASD and can support children (7 + years), adolescents, and adults. In addition to counselling, I also offer parenting support and coaching for complex/additional needs.
I can offer clients a range of therapeutic approaches, including: Person-centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, creative/expressive arts, and music-based approaches.
My counselling practice is open Thursday - Friday 9-6pm.
I charge £55 per session and sessions last for up to1 hour.
I offer both face-to-face and online sessions, depending on needs and preferences of the client.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation to talk about the client's needs and presenting issues, the approaches I offer, and how we could work together in counselling.
Training, qualifications & experience
My professional background spans over 25 years working in health and social care, across multiple settings, including: elderly residential, brain injury rehabilitation, therapeutic children's residential, and educational settings from 2000 until 2016. I retrained in counselling and therapy, achieving an advanced diploma in psychodynamic counselling in 2019. Since then, I have continued to work in private counselling. I also run a part-time neurodiversity support service for the NHS in South Cambridgeshire for children, young people and families.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

£55.00 per session
Additional information
I charge a cancellation fee if sessions are booked in and then cancelled within 48 hours of the session taking place. The fee is half the cost of a full session (£27.50) to cover my time and the cost of the room.
I can offer a reduced fee to those receiving PIP/Universal Credit, and this can be discussed in the initial consultation.

I'm a strong believer in the value of mental wellbeing for everyone, and I work collaboratively with clients to empower them to develop strategies that work for them and allow them to live their best lives.
