About me
Specialist Counsellor for Women.
Supporting you in Life, Love, and Loss
I offer adult and youth counselling in The Norfolk Broads and Norwich.
As a young person you may be struggling with relationships, social media, sexuality and making your way in the world. Or something may have happened to you that feels deeply shameful and frightening and is too big to overcome alone despite your best efforts to manage the feelings yourself.
If you are a parent reading this you may be feeling at a loss as to how to help, hoping to find someone that can take some of the emotional load and support your teen through this difficult time.
I am an experienced youth counsellor. I can help with complex, specific issues such as self-harm and neurodiversity as well as many other issues affecting young people today.
In adulthood, women face multiple pressures and stresses. You might be experiencing inequalities at home, work, or in education. You're not feeling heard, seen, or understood in the way that you would like. You might be comparing yourself to others and feel like whatever you do is not enough.
You're struggling to be you or even to know who you are now.
This may show up as anxiety. You may feel low, flat, or depressed or have 'checked out'. Maybe you're ruminating on your problems and your head is going in circles trying to makes sense of it all.
You may be seeking ways to give yourself some short-term relief but you know this isn't sustainable and things have got out of balance. Your health and relationships are suffering.
I provide a supportive and insightful space where you can take stock and prioritise yourself. I will help you discover new insights so that you can identify a life where you can thrive alongside the people that are important to you.
What life do you want for yourself? That question and answer are very important to me.
I am a mother to three adolescents, one with a chronic illness. I'm a daughter, wife, sister, friend. My life experiences and professional approach combine to accompany you through the challenges, pain, and difficulties you are facing. And sometimes with a sprinkling of humour....

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
